With a very strong Health and Safety and Energy Conservation policy similar to Australia. The reason for this was to reduce Energy Consumption, Maintenance Costs, Improve the IAQ (Indoor Air Quality) within the whole facility. Obviously at the time we were unaware of what was on the horizon, but the UVC suppliers have confirmed Steril-Aire as having the highest output for HVAC applications therefore offers the greatest COVID defence against air borne and COVID on hard surfaces.
Steril-Aire UVC Germicidal Emitters were fitted to 33 AHU’s at Westfield 309 Broadway feeding retail and atrium, the commissioning results exceeded the original design and prior to my leaving we were very happy with the results and would use them throughout other facilities.
